Ebac UK – International Marketing Research and Strategy Project

Background Ebac UK is the only UK manufacturer of washing machines and is also the UK market leader for dehumidifiers. All Ebac’s products are manufactured in the UK and the company’s international sales account for more than 50% of total turnover.
Project 
Impac were appointed by EBAC to research potential in Key European Markets and recommend a 3 Year strategy to develop sales of the their Dehumidifier range. 
The potential profitability and sizes of all major markets were carefully researched to enable a decision to be made on the countries that offered most potential. A comprehensive list of retailers in each market was compiled and their product offer was analysed to select the products from Ebac’s range which were most competitive. A detailed launch plan was then created.


Key trends in distribution were highlighted to allow Ebac to consider the best route to market and third party logistic providers and costs were also researched. Initial contact was arranged by Impac with selected European Retailers.
