David Hall

I have over 20 Years experience of growing businesses both domestically and in International markets. My career has been spent in the consumer goods, DIY, and electronic consumer goods industries. I  have gained a depth of experience having worked for Multinationals,family businesses and SME’s.

I have worked for both Blue Chip companies (such as I.C.I PLC, Seven Seas,..) where I was responsible for developing International Business and building Brands using my local knowledge and languages (I speak French, Spanish and German)

In the past 15 Years, I have held Managing Director roles  in S.M.E’s and also Mid Sized Multi Nationals, where my remit has been to grow sales, brands, and company infrastructure. As such, I have significant experience in developing multi channel growth strategies and have worked with National Retailers, Online specialists such as Amazon, Grocery chains and discounters growing one of my employers businesses by 500%.. and turning it around from loss making to profit in 2 years.

As a result, I decided to set up a Business consultancy  which focused on helping companies grow domestically or in overseas markets. Having been in a position where the development of on line sales was critical to  success, I decided to ensure that Impac would also offer extensive support to clients who needed to target this sector for the first time or take their on line sales to the next level.

Our Approach

We are very client focused and approachable. We are focused on delivering a positive solution to our clients and follow a detailed procedure with the following steps;

  • Understanding the clients needs – working with the client to understand their business and agree a detailed brief
  • Researching the main elements of the brief working with key stakeholders internally and carrying out a detailed survey of all external market factors
  • Regular feedback – Normally the timing of feedback meetings and review of Key Findings is agreed at the brief stage. However, if there is a need to discuss any critical findings with the client and gain their feedback, this will be organised as required
  • Final Presentation and Recommendations – After having gathered all necessary information internally and externally a Recommended course of action is presented for approval
  • Ongoing support – We are aware that not all clients can take on the recommended action plan for various reasons and may need further support to implement strategy, train their team or just focus on the activities concerned. We then work with the client to help them make progress and implement the agreed strategy.
